I feel so bad, I was supposed to do this review last week, but have been so overwhelmed, that I completely forgot. I went in last Thursday, 1/9/25, & was so thankful for Marcus' (sp?) help. I've been hobbling around on crutches, & was only able to buy bottled water because he loaded it into a cart & then took it out & put it in my car! Thank you so much Marcus, for all your help! I appreciate you!
I like this place a lot, more so than other stores. They have good produce, prices, service is always quick at the meat counter. I like that they have grass fed beef, which other stores often don't care. Would recommend.
Love the fresh chicken options. A bit pricey but worth it. Look out for their sales because they have some pretty great ones on so many items. I like the option of pick up and delivery.

My go to spot in Modesto. 2nd would be the local shops for niche foods. I only go to trader joes for cheap beer, water and dumplings. Sprouts has the meats, cheeses and whole veggies needed to get the job done. The other grocers, nope. Why even got there? Especially Luckys...meh.
I used to shop here more frequently when I was vegan and bought fake bacon and cheese. They have a great selection of plant based processed food, and fresh produce, of course. Their pumpkins were fairly priced when I bought a couple here for Halloween. Went back yesterday for Medterra CBD cream but they no longer carry that brand. It was a couple years ago when I bought it there. That's ok, I ended up with arnica cream and Epsom salt for my husband's aches and pains. Loved the fresh smells of artisan bar soap as soon as I walked in. I came here early to avoid the crowds. It's the opposite of Walmart - very relaxing at this store. They have self-checkout now. I like that, so no one can judge or ask questions about my purchases. I bought a lot of sample size energy drink packets and will return soon for stocking stuffers.
